This
room is dedicated to Dora (last name unknown), a “Lady
of the Evening”, who is believed to have worked this
room from 1885 to 1893. Cora was the known by the male population
as a strong, blusterous, overweight woman, whose trademark
was her false teeth, which she left on her nightstand every
night. As the story goes, these teeth were often confiscated
by male practical jokers, leaving Cora with no teeth, until
she could replace them. |
