Inn of The Black Wolf is an oasis of culture in a setting

the spirit of the Grand Lodges of the National Parks. We
are transforming Twin Lakes from a wayside stop to a three-season
vacation destination. We want you to feel like you're visiting

the 1980's the Inn of the Black Wolf was the base for the
Great Tomato Wars between Colorado and Texas. We are researching
bringing back this fun event. If you would like more information

| Twin Lakes
are the largest glacier lakes in Colorado and because of their
beauty, this area has been a tourist destination since the 1860s.
The area is a center for fishing, hiking and biking, as well
as being on the Colorado Trail. This National Historic Site
is surrounded by 14,000 foot peaks including Mt. Elbert to the
north, the highest mountain in Colorado. The site includes the
Interlaken Hotel historic site and the charming Twin Lakes Village.
